P16 Series Mini Linear Actuators
P16 is the next generation of 12V mini linear actuator from Actuonix Motion Devices. Featuring a compact side by side design with a planetary gearbox, these units offer higher speeds, higher forces and longer life than our other units.
Depending on the model that you choose, the P16 can achieve a maximum force of up to 67lbs or a maximum unloaded speed of 46mm/s (1.8"/s).
The P16 is available in 4 stroke lengths: 50mm (2"), 100mm (3.9") 150mm (5.9") and 200mm (7.9") and 3 gearing options: 22:1, 63:1 and 256:1 in the following configurations:
P16-P Series
P-Series miniature linear actuators offer no built-in controller, but do provide an analog position feedback signal that can be input to an external controller. The “P” series can be used with our Linear Actuator Control Board (LAC) to give the “P” series the ability to be controlled with USB (via our Configuration Utility Software), 0-5v, 4-20mA, RC Servo or PWM. On board adjustment of speed, sensitivity and stroke limits are available via the LAC. The “P” series are available in 12v only.
P16-S Series
S-Series actuators are operated by reversing polarity on the actuator's two leads. The S-serie
S-Series actuators are operated by reversing polarity on the actuator's two leads. The S-series has end of stroke limit switches to that will turn off the unit if it runs into its end stop. These can be run with a DPDT switch, relay or for RC a you can use a brushed reversible DC motor controller. The P16-S is available in 12v only.
